The 2023 Oscar Awards finally arrived in Los Angeles, California to celebrate and reward the best cinematic performances of the year. Held at the Dolby Theatre, celebrities brought their best sartorial game to the 95th annual Academy Awards. Among the A-star list were Rihanna and Austin Butler, accompanied by Kaia Gerber, Cara Delevingne, Michelle Yeoh, Cate Blanchett, Emily Blunt, Janelle Monáe, and many more. The gala was hosted by comedian Jimmy Kimmel in his third hosting experience. All were in charge of infusing energy and glamour to the Oscars 2023 red carpet with their looks.
Many of the stars chose designs that contrasted the traditional with the contemporary, resulting in totally fresh looks. Some others went for minimalist and angelic white tones, while others opted for drama and vibrant, bold colours. If anyone stole the spotlight throughout the ceremony, it was Cara Delevingne’s triumphant entrance. While most guests opted for black or white this year, Delevingne stood out in a deep, romantic red with an oversized rose detail on her shoulder. On the other hand, continuing with the floral embellishments, we had the iconic Nicole Kidman, who wore an Armani Prive design with two large rosettes on one shoulder and on the thigh accompanying the large opening of the dress. Everyone was in charge of an enviable parade of gowns and evening dresses.

FLORENCE PUGH
The British Florence Pugh surprised everyone at the Oscars 2023 as she opted for a dramatic dress with volume, Valentino Couture. Composed of shorts and a top, the dress had large sleeves with volume. She completed her look with Tiffany jewellery, including two Soleste rings, platinum earrings with pink tourmalines and diamonds, and a matching necklace. She also wore black platform sandals.
JESSICA CHASTAIN
The star of “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” opted to wear a sequin and velvet Gucci gown. Her sweetheart neckline with black velvet trim was made of the same material used for the elegant train. She paired it with earrings, several rings, and glowing makeup.
VANESSA HUDGENS
Red carpet correspondent Vanessa Hudgens wore a vintage Chanel strapless gown with Roberto Coin jewellery. She wore her hair up in a tight bun and added shiny, sharp nails to her Oscars look.
RIHANNA
Pop superstar singer Rihanna, who was nominated in the awards’ best original song category, turned heads at the 2023 Annual Academy Awards. For the occasion, she wore a leather bra and maxi skirt combo by designer label, Alaia, bringing bold maternity style to the Oscars. The outfit worn over a sheer turtleneck bodysuit featured a dramatic train and slashed cut-outs at each hip. She completed the look with Giuseppe Zanotti heels enormous brown diamond drop earrings and a bold cocktail ring from Moussaieff.
CARA DELEVINGNE
Cara Delevingne looked incredibly gorgeous on the 2023 Oscars red carpet. For the occasion, she wore a rosy, red satin gown by Elie Saab, reviving Angelina Jolie’s viral leg pose at the Oscars. Her dress featured a cinched bodice with a massive bow-tied accent on its shoulder. She finished the look with Serpenti serpent-shaped diamond post earrings, rings, a wrapped collar necklace a winding bangle by Bulgari. She also wore platform sandals by Stuart Weitzman.
LADY GAGA
The “Joker: Folie à Deux” actress left everyone’s jaws on the floor when she showed up in this sheer, drop-waist gown from Versace. Her dress also included mesh along her bodice and down the sleeves. The gown had an all-black skirt that puffed out at the bottom and included Versace’s signature Medusa medallion at the waist, matching the larger choker.
NICOLE KIDMAN
Nicole Kidman arrived at the 95th Annual Academy Awards, looking extremely gorgeous. She had the honour of presenting an award at the ceremony. She also had five Oscars nominations to her name for 2022’s Being in the Ricardos and one win for her 2003 performance in The Hours. She was definitely a total showstopper in this elegant black sequins-covered gown.
