Burberry unveiled its latest campaign for its TB Summer Monogram collection and enlisted supermodel Gisele Bündchen to headline the campaign.
Burberry’s new TB Summer Monogram collection celebrates the brand’s duality, fusing past and present to create a collision of iconicity, reflected in the collection’s print.
The photo shoot was captured by Luigi and Iango, with Bündchen adopting “an effortless pose in front of unpublished portraits captured by the duo ten years earlier. A relaxed pose affirms her inner confidence: a sincere interpretation of beauty exemplified through the collection.”
Burberry chief creative officer Ricardo Tisci also worked with stylist Suzanne Koller and makeup artist Georgi Sandev on the images.
For the annual TB Summer Monogram collection, Burberry has made a habit of hiring big names to headline its campaign. The debut collection featured Gigi Hadid with Kendall Jenner as the star the following year and Naomi Campbell stepping up last year.
“I was very happy to see Riccardo again after so long and shooting with my sweet friends Luigi and Iango is always a blast,” Bündchen said. “It was very special to spend time with everyone, we had a lot of fun on set.” The model said of the campaign in a press release.
The Monogram campaign itself seeks to revive the brand’s iconic heritage, combining the check pattern with the TB Monogram.
This year’s collection features a variety of women’s pieces, including cotton gabardine trench coats, silk kaftans and bow blouses, wool-blend cardigans and polo shirts, cotton T-shirts and hoodies, cropped blouses and leggings, eyeglasses and swimsuits.
Menswear includes cotton sweatshirts and Oxford shirts, silk-blend bomber jackets, hooded jackets and wool sweaters.
Meanwhile, on the accessories front, there are fisherman hats, and baseball caps, Lola and Freya tote bags, linen high top sneakers, leather pointed toe heels with contrasting piping, neoprene sandals, sunglasses and a jacquard woven towel.
