Britney Spears and Sam Asghari are now a married couple! The wedding ceremony was held at their mansion in Los Angeles, California.
Britney Spears has married Sam Asghari at a Southern California ceremony, which came months after the pop superstar won her freedom from the imposed conservatorship she had for many years. The ceremonial took place at their Thousand Oaks home (Los Angeles) with approximately 60 guests in attendance, including superstars such as Madonna, Selena Gomez, Paris Hilton and Donatella Versace, among other celebrities and friends. Relatives were not invited.
The wedding took place nine months after the engagement announcement, and nearly seven months after Spears’ conservatory verdict. Britney has always expressed her desire to marry Asghari and have children together while seeking to end the court case that controlled most aspects of her life. Eventually, Spears got pregnant earlier this year, but unfortunately miscarried in March and commented: “Our love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family…”
The pop singer met Sam Asghari in October of 2016 on the set of her “Slumber Party” music video clip when he played as Britney’s love interest. “I did not have to audition,” he said. “It was a direct book.” After some months, Britney found his phone number in her purse and thought “He is really cute. This guy is really cute,” she told a radio host back in 2017. Then, she decided to call him “and ever since then… he is just a really fun, funny person.” She expressed.
The couple went out to a restaurant and kept the initial months of their dating life private. However, in November 2016, the actor posted a photo on Instagram confirming the rumours. While in 2017, Spears personally posted on her Instagram the first cute picture of them posing together while celebrating the 2017 New Year. They got engaged in September, 2021.
For their wedding, the couple expressed they wanted to “make this a small and beautiful moment with family and friends,”. They also wanted to decorate the place in “warm and feminine colours including blush, white, cream, and gold, and a lot of various shades of pinks, blush, and reds.”
Britney wore a sleek, off-the-shoulder custom Versace dress, featuring a leg-revealing slit up one side and a classic white veil with satin edging. On the other hand, Sam wore a tux by Versace.
Her look included round diamond and pear-shaped drop earrings, a heart-shaped diamond tennis necklace in white gold, and an oval diamond tennis bracelet.
Charlotte and Sofia Tilbury were responsible of creating the bride’s natural beauty look. “I was so thrilled and honoured to be asked to design Britney’s bridal beauty look!” Charlotte commented.
The decided to choose a white horse with gold hooves pulling a carriage to station outside of their home. Moreover, the ten-minute ceremony took place under a tent draped in velvet blush. Guests included Madonna, Selena Gomez, Drew Barrymore, Paris Hilton and Carter Reum, Kathy Hilton, Maria Menounos, Ansel Elgort, will.i.am her manager Cade Hudson, and Donatella Versace.
As the ceremony was over, Britney changed into three more different looks as to start celebrating at the party. She wore a black mini-dress followed by a two-toned outfit, and finally, a red mini dress, all by Versace. Citrus Blossom Bakery created the couple’s vanilla strawberry cake and the music by DJ Albert.
