The 6 Best Dressed Stars at the 2024 Emmys

After initially announcing nominations six months ago, the Emmys were postponed from its original September date due to the SAG strikes.

A four-month postponement has the power to create a whole lot of anticipation. Nowhere was that more true than at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, which took place January 15 in Downtown Los Angeles. The show, which was originally slated to be televised in September but was delayed by the 2023 Hollywood writers’ and actors’ strikes, made its network debut with a red carpet steeped in glam.

Honorees include some of the year’s buzziest series, such as The Crown, The Last of Us, The White Lotus, Succession, and Yellowjackets. And the best part? The shows’ leading stars will all be in attendance on the Emmys 2024 red carpet—look out for A-listers like Rachel Brosnahan, Quinta Brunson, Bella Ramsey, Pedro Pascal, and Jeremy Allen White.

Past attendees include modern belles such as Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney, as well as old-school screen legends Audrey Hepburn and Joan Collins, meaning the Emmys red carpet is always awash with beautiful, cutting-edge design.

This year’s bash was no exception. Selena Gomez and Jenna Ortega leaned on the perennial drama of a strapless neckline, whereas Suki Waterhouse allowed her bow-clad bump to take centre stage. Rocking Valentino before you’ve even left the womb? Iconic behaviour if ever we saw it.

Red was one of the key hues with Camila Morrone and Katherine Heigl both championing passionate brights, while Rachel Brosnahan and Meghann Fahy went for richer, berry-like tones.

As the awards unfolded, the anticipation was palpable. The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences recognized outstanding contributions to the world of television, providing a platform for stars to express gratitude to their peers, fans, and family. Hosted by Anthony Anderson, the 75th Emmys promised not only accolades but also the chance to shine on the red carpet and secure a coveted spot on our magazine’s best-dressed list.

The spotlight on the red carpet was not just about nominees; it was a stage for unforgettable looks that would resonate in fashion history. See all the best-dressed celebrities on the red carpet below.
