The LACMA Art + Film Gala was a star-studded affair on Saturday night.
The annual LACMA Film + Art Gala is one of the most stylish red carpets around, ranking with the Oscars and the Met Gala. And, with the presentation of Gucci’s current evening wear collection “Ancora Notte” (created by the Italian label’s new creative director Sabato De Sarno) coinciding with this year’s black-tie event, the night seemed even more glamorous than normal.
Actor Leonardo DiCaprio and LACMA trustee Eva Chow hosted the annual fundraiser, which doubled as a runway show. Stars including Salma Hayek, Jennifer Lopez, and Jessica Chastain showed off their new Gucci gowns, while Ben Affleck, Andrew Garfield, and Lenny Kravitz donned the brand’s first-ever formal menswear pieces.

With her bold outfit that showed off her toned abs in a crystal-encrusted bra and a high-slit maxi skirt, Jodie Turner-Smith attracted heads. Naturally, Jennifer Lopez dazzled in a transparent gold lace gown with floral motifs, accessorising with stunning nude platform shoes and matching gold undergarments.
