The 7 Best-Dressed Celebrities at the Met Gala 2022

These are the best looks from the most-anticipated gala event, The Met Gala 2022.

After months of intrigue, speculation, gossip, rumors and more than one costume prediction, the night everyone’s been waiting for is finally here.

Known as “fashion’s biggest night,” it’s an annual night that leaves everyone wanting to snag a lavish ballgown of their own. Ever since the 1940s, the event has been held nearly every year with a unique theme that makes stars think outside the box with their apparel. The 2022 Met Gala was officially on, and it attracted more fashion A-listers than your favorite awards show combined. This year’s theme was particularly intriguing, with even the most reluctant stars dining, dancing and visiting the museum’s Costume Institute’s latest exhibit on the Met’s famously steep steps.

Many celebrities stuck to the dress code, with outfits that harked back to the 19th century, such as Billie Eilish, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Kim Kardashian, among others celebs.

From glittering gowns to shocking accessories, this Met Gala had some of the best outfits we’ve ever seen. Check out who was the best dressed at the 2022 Met Gala below!

VANESSA HUDGENS

BILLIE EILISH

Billie Eilish stole the red carpet wearing a custom Gucci ‘fit complete with a corset, seafoam green lace sleeves, and a cream-coloured train. Although this was only her second Met Gala appearance, she managed to snag the crown for fashion’s biggest night.

BLAKE LIVELY & RYAN REYNOLDS

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, who have been married for nearly 10 years, were Met Gala co-chairs. They were not only the best-dressed couple at the event, but also seemingly the happiest. Lively wore a crown with a strapless custom Atelier Versace dress, featuring pink bow-like detailing with pink opera gloves. Reynolds complemented her in a black tuxedo.

BAD BUNNY

The Puerto Rican singer chose a cream-coloured boilersuit courtesy of Riccardo Tisci for Burberry. The boilersuit was a reflection of Bad Bunny’s original style, in which he often opts for androgynous clothing. He paired the cream-colored boiler suit with a pair of matching derby leather shoes. Another highlight from Bad Bunny’s look was his mini bouffant hairstyle. The bouffant look was bejeweled with hair accessories.

CAMILA CABELLO

JOHNNY SUH

The Chicago Dream Boy wore a suit prepared by the FIT alum and LVHM graduate’s prize winner, Peter DO. He embraced the event’s white-tie dress theme, donning a black tailcoat.
