We have rounded up some of our favourite looks from the 2024 red carpets including the opening ceremony and Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga premier.

Greta Gerwig at the Cannes Film Festival 2024.

Even before the first red carpet began, the 2024 Cannes Film Festival got off to a strong sartorial start on Monday when Anya Taylor-Joy was photographed arriving at Hotel Martinez in a one-shouldered Altein dress and larger-than-life sunhat. Later came Jury President Greta Gerwig in Carven, then in daytime Maison Margiela Artisanal; followed by Lily Gladstone in back-to-back Gucci moments and Meryl Streep in a crisp white Michael Kors suit. The annual A-list gathering was off to the races.

The festival officially began on Tuesday evening with the customary Opening Ceremony, which brought out eveningwear from Giorgio Armani Privé (on Eva Green) to Elie Saab (on Jane Fonda).

Hunter Schafer, and Margaret Qualley, is also set to make waves with its intriguing premise and stellar performances. Each premiere not only marks a significant cultural event but also a major fashion showcase, where designers vie for their creations to be worn by the stars.

The Cannes Film Festival is more than just a celebration of film; it’s a spectacle of style. Celebrities often take this opportunity to collaborate with top designers, making bold fashion statements that will be talked about for years.

As the festival continues, we can expect to see even more incredible fashion moments. Each day will bring new premieres, new films, and new outfits, making Cannes a dynamic celebration of both cinema and style. Here’s a roundup of some of the best looks from Cannes so far.
