From simple, clean to bold and complex, this season’s haute couture shows in Paris showed off beautiful beauty looks for every kind of person.
This year’s Haute Couture held in Paris was just amazing, but sadly, just like all the good things in the world, it come to an end. Nevertheless, beauty looks are not coming to an end. They are coming out with stunning beauty statements, which have been following the latest trends from the season.
Fashion brands, such as Stéphane Rolland, Chanel, and Giambattista Valli have showcased gorgeous make-up, hair and nail moments apt for our daily lives. Some others have shown off a little bit extravagant statements, but specially created for those people who like art, and glamour.
Moreover, beauty looks have been recreated at Fall-Winter’s latest shows. For instance, Elie Saab has proposed its iridescent layer of glittering flakes, while Viktor & Rolf has the blooming cheeks spotted at Viktor & Rolf. The boldest statements were in the form of eye detail, hairdos, and even exaggerated nails.
Armani Privé showed off smoky eyes on the runway. Lips have been the Queen of the season, as they appeared in almost all fashion shows, talking in the most incredible way possible. Schiaparelli tried the pillar-box red lips and Zuhair Murad the pillowy “gym lips”.
As regards hairstyle, braids were key – and big, literally. Take, for instance, Giambattista Valli’s minimal ponytail plait seen at its latest show. Besides, cool girl waves at Chanel screamed summer effortlessness and Viktor&Rolf’s collection highlighted pink lashes.
In the nail department, Iris van Herpen reigned supreme with their larger-than-life appliqués, bringing new meaning to the term ‘statement nails’.
