The 2023 Golden Globes took place last week, marking the first major Hollywood award show of the season, and a return for the event, which last year was not held in its usual capacity. This situation, coupled with several years of Covid regulations, meant that 2023 marked the first normal Golden Globes red carpet we have had since 2020 – and the fashion world was excited to see what celebrities and their stylists would create.
The event took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. It was attended by our favourite celebrities, such as Margot Robbie, Selena Gomez, Eddie Redmayne, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Andrew Garfield, just to name a few.
This year, attendees leaned into high traditional Hollywood glamour for the 80th Golden Globes red carpet. Celebrities wore their finest, kicking off the 2023 award show season with head-turning fashion.
Tailoring and suits were front and centre at the ceremony. One of the most-talked-about men’s looks of the night was Andrew Garfield in a burnt orange suit. Actor Eddie Redmayne opted for a black suit, while Austin Butler looked amazing in a sleek, off-black suit.
Stunning-colourful gowns also ruled the red carpet. Female celebrities brought glamour and style, wearing the most stylish dresses designed by the most incredible fashion brands. For instance, Margot Robbie wore a pink dress by Chanel, while Selena Gomez wore a velvet gown by Valentino.

SELENA GOMEZ
Singer and actress Selena Gomez looked like a Goddess while attending the Golden Globes 2023 red carpet. For the occasion, she wore a decadent velvet gown by Valentino. It consisted of multiple show-stopping statement details. The strapless dress featured a small cut-out in the bust, had oversized eggplant-colour puffy sleeves and a long train. Her look was completed with open-toe black platform heels.
EDDIE REDMAYNE
Actor Eddie Redmayne ruled the red carpet wearing a modern black suit by Valentino. He also sported a satin flower pinned on his tuxedo suit.
ANYA TAYLOR-JOY
Argentinian actress Anya Taylor-Joy stunned at the Golden Globes’ red carpet wearing a canary-yellow two-piece dress by Dior. It also featured a straight, floor-length wrap skirt. She completed the look with a gold, collar-style necklace, matching bangles and sparkly rings.
ANA DE ARMAS
Actress Ana de Armas looked incredible at the Golden Globes’ red carpet. For the occasion, she wore a black custom by Louis Vuitton. The structured black gown featured silver studs arranged in a geometric pattern.
JESSICA CHASTAIN
Actress Jessica Chastain looked beautiful in a structural, semi-sheer gown by Oscar de la Renta. The incredible dress was adorned with crystals sewn onto the nude-tone bodice in a spiderweb pattern. She completed the look with Gucci rings, champagne-toned platform heels by Casadei and a matching crystal adorned mask.

Andrew Garfield attended the Golden Globes wearing David Yurman jewels and an Omega timepiece.
MARGOT ROBBIE
Actress Margot Robbie looked gorgeous while attending the 80th Golden Globes red carpet. For the occasion, she opted for a Barbie Core-inspired dress by Chanel. The halter-neck gown included a jewelled brooch at the throat, vee patterns, and a mermaid-shape ending in a combined ruffle-and-feather fringe skirt.
